Announcements should:
 Be of interest to citizens of Lapeer County.
Be community oriented and of interest to the general public. Solicitations for volunteers, announcements of changed hours or new services, and reunion planning are examples of acceptable submissions. No purely commercial or personal announcements such as lost and found, classified ads, or birthday wishes.
Truly be a general announcement and not an event that occurs on a specific date.
A team of reviewers screen submissions and have discretion in applying these guidelines.
Announcements will be posted for one week after they are approved for posting.
