This fall promises to be hot at the PIX and this concert is no exception.  Bluegrass music at its best, there is no other way to put it.  If you are a fan of the hot pickin’ and tight harmonies that make this music so great, then this is the show for you.  This group is simply amazing.  Lare Williams will impress you with his traditional arrangements and just flat out astound you with his original songs.   This concert will be hotter than Atlanta in August.

Why stop our hot streak?  Here we have a hot, hot blues band.  Rusty and the band will show you what the blues are all about and why they are winners of the 2006 Detroit Motor City Breakdown - the largest International Blues Challenge preliminary competition in the world!   Not only do they play some of the best blues heard in the area, but they play “different styles” of the blues from very traditional to what some call “southern fried” blues.  No matter how you like your blues, Rusty is guaranteed to play them hot.

Can you use the word hot to describe a Classical Brass Quintet?  We think you can and Today’s Brass fits the bill.  We bring you five of the hottest and most talented horn player ever assembled into one quintet.  They masterfully play everything from Renaissance period music to Modern Jazz.   Not only do the members play in this quintet but they are also members of several Michigan symphonies and orchestras.   What better way to heat up a cold winter night?

Aaron has been called the next David Copperfield by Jackpot Magazine and has entertained all over America and Europe.  We are pleased to be able to bring him to the PIX.  Aaron and his crew will be here for one day only, but will perform two shows.  He has performed at Treasure Chest Casino, The Bellagio and the crown jewel of casino’s Caesars Palace.  Aaron comes recommended by Harry Blackstone Jr. and Bally’s Casino as well as by anyone that has ever seen this magnificent illusionist work.  Both shows could be a sell out so get these hot tickets early.
