So our consumers may enjoy the benefits of employment -- both monetary and intrinsic -- that we all take for granted in our everyday lives.

We work with local businesses when they require the services of a permanent employee. The persons we serve in our Job Placement Program are our neighbors throughout the county who need a little extra help in overcoming their barriers to obtaining competitive jobs in the community. Employers receive many Pre-Employment Benefits of using our services including:

• Prescreening of potential employees including
  Job Readiness Assessment
• Analysis of best potential job matches
  between employers and employees
• Individuals have the opportunity to experience
  training in an actual work setting and then are
  Matched with appropriate job openings

Early Employment Benefits

• Job Coaching - provides training and support until employee can complete tasks independently
• Job Support - help maintain job performance by providing ongoing on and off-site support

Continuing Benefits

• No Fee - Our fee is paid by the State of Michigan
• Ongoing Support - ongoing offsite support
• Tax Credits - substantial Federal Tax Credits
